A note on hooks
A hook isn't about making someone watch to the end. If a viewer feels trapped or duped, they might sit through this video — but they'll skip your next one without a second thought. That's not a win.
The real job of a hook is to make your viewer want the product before they've even seen it fully. Lead with the genuine frustration — grab a bottle, press the dispenser, get nothing, make a face. That moment is universally relatable. You're not tricking anyone. You're showing them something real that they've lived themselves.
The good news: Last Drop is perfectly set up for this. The frustration is real, the solution is visual, and the payoff is immediate. Do this right and your viewers don't just buy — they trust you. And that trust compounds with every video you post.
Guidelines
Dos & Don'ts
Keep these in mind when creating your content.
✓ Do
✓Use your own words — these scripts are starting points. The best content comes from your genuine reaction to the product. Be natural, be you.
✓Lead with the frustration — that moment when the dispenser quits but there's clearly still product left. Your audience has lived it. Make them feel seen before you show the solution.
✓Say the brand name freely — EOS, Aveeno, Jergens, CeraVe, Cetaphil, Lubriderm, or Neutrogena. Think of it like shopping for an iPhone case — the seller says "fits the iPhone 15" without needing Apple's permission. Use a bottle you already own for the most authentic feel.
✓Show the product in use — swap the old dispenser, flip the bottle, show the lotion flowing. The visual payoff is everything.
✓Tap the product card out loud — verbally point it out when it appears. Something like "tap that little bag" goes a long way.
✓Call it a "replacement top" or "replacement cap" when referring to our product.
✗ Don't
✗Don't bash the lotion brand — you love the lotion, the dispenser just has limits. Keep it positive toward the brand.
✗Don't show the brand's logo on camera — say the name freely, but if the logo appears on screen, we can't put ad spend behind your video. Simple fix: cover it with tape or your thumb while filming.
✗Don't say "pump" — TikTok's content filter may flag it and limit your reach. Say "dispenser" instead.
✗Don't make exaggerated claims — "get more out of every bottle" is great. "Doubles your product" is not.
✗Don't make it feel like an ad — scripted and polished underperforms authentic and real every time on TikTok.

For high performers only
Keys to Success
For creators who want to drive real sales and maximize their commissions.
1
One video, one message
Pick one angle — the frustration, the waste, the convenience — and own it for the entire video. Videos that chase multiple points lose viewers halfway through. Singular focus drives higher watch time, and higher watch time drives more sales.
That said, if you want to cover more than one angle, you absolutely can — just do it as a separate video. We provide plenty of script ideas to help you do exactly that, and we're here to support you throughout the process.
2
Place your product links like a pro
This is where most creators leave money on the table. Here's the exact playbook:
Pin the product tag before you even start filming — it should be visible from second one, not added as an afterthought. Always on, always visible.
Trigger the in-video product card between seconds 8–15 — right after your hook lands but before attention starts to decay. According to TikTok for Business, product cards shown in the first third of a video generate 40% more taps than those shown in the final third. Each of our scripts shows you exactly where to place it — the hard work is already done. You just need to execute.
Post a pinned comment with a direct checkout link within 60 seconds of publishing — this catches the "I'll come back to this" crowd who scroll comments before tapping through. We'll provide you with the exact link for every compatible product so you never have to hunt for it.
3
Say the link out loud
Don't just place the product card and hope people tap it. Verbally call it out: "tap the orange tag" or "the link's right there."
Think of it this way — if you want to ask someone out on a date, you have to actually ask them. If you don't ask, they'll never say yes. Same principle here. Your viewer needs a direct invitation to go from watching to buying. That one line is non-negotiable.
4
Nail your CTA (Call to Action) — don't bolt it on
The worst CTAs sound like a TV shopping segment. The best ones feel like a natural part of the story.
Embed it, don't tack it on. Instead of "check the link below," try "I grabbed two because I know this is going to sell out — link's right there if you want one."
Create urgency or social proof. Give your viewer a reason to act now, not later.
Speak directly to the viewer."You need this" outperforms "I love this" every time.
CTA Template
[Your genuine reaction] + [Direct address to viewer] + [Urgency or social proof] + [Tap instruction]
Example: "This honestly changed my routine — if you're still dealing with this problem, tap the bag right now, they won't last."
5
Your comment section is part of the content
After you post, stay active in your comments. Reply to anyone asking where to get it, whether it fits their bottle, or how it works. Every reply extends the life of your video and signals to the algorithm that your content is driving conversation.
We'll give you direct links for every compatible product — EOS, Aveeno, Jergens, CeraVe, and more — so you can reply with confidence and get your followers straight to checkout.
